Service Description
Application for installing speed breakers on internal roads within the wilayats of Muscat Governorate.
Requirements
• There must be at least ten (10) applicants who are residents of the area where the speed breakers would be installed.
• ? The applicant agrees to cover all costs arising from installing speed breakers after obtaining final approval and permission from the municipality, and to repaint them between periods.
Required Documents
• A list of applicants’ names and signatures.
• A copy of both applicants’ identity cards.
• An aerial photograph of the proposed site.
• Site map.
• Any documents that support the application.
Service Procedure Outline
Submitting the Application:
• The beneficiary submits the application in person or via the Muscat Governorate official website www.gom.gov.om • Download the form, fill in the required details and submit it by Email.
Review and Processing of the Application:
• The relevant officer checks that the application and the required documents are complete.
• The application must be presented to the relevant committee for review and a site visit.
Approval of the Application:
• The applicant is contacted to inform them of their application’s outcome; in case of approval, the beneficiary is directed to the relevant municipality to fulfill the procedures for issuing the permit.
