The Office of the Wali of Al Amerat, in cooperation with the Environmental Authority, organized a campaign on Saturday to distribute 3,000 seedlings (wild, fruit, and ornamental) at Sultan Center (Al Jomlah branch in Al Amerat), as part of the national initiative to plant 10 million trees currently adopted by the authority. It is worth mentioning that the Office of the Wali of Al Amerat launched a campaign to green the state since September, where 3,190 seedlings were planted in different locations in the state. Several government and community entities participated in this campaign, including the Muscat Municipality, the Environmental Authority, the Omani Company for Water and Sanitation Services, the Al Amerat Al-Khairi team, and the Omani Sidr Association.
