Wali of Al Amerat Chairs the Second Meeting of the Parents’ Council

His Excellency Hamad bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Wali of Al Amerat and Chairman of the Parents’ Council, chaired the Council’s second meeting for the 2026/2027 academic year, in the presence of the Director General of Muscat Municipality in Al Amerat and the Council’s members. The meeting was held as part of efforts to reinforce community partnership and support the education sector in the Wilayat.

The meeting reviewed several topics related to developing the educational environment, most notably the needs of schools and support priorities. It discussed community initiatives supporting the education sector, as well as ways to boost partnerships with public- and private-sector institutions and secure the necessary support for implementing educational and community programmes and activities, including the ceremony honouring excellent students.

The meeting also addressed the latest developments in the Council’s works and the work of its committees, as well as ways to enhance communication and coordination with school administrations and strengthen cooperation. Thereby this contributes to meeting schools’ needs and advancing educational and learning initiatives.

The meeting emphasises the importance of integrating the roles of educational institutions, government and private entities, and the local community, while strengthening joint efforts to provide a stimulating and supportive educational environment for students. Thereby supporting the educational process and enhancing its outcomes in Al Amerat.
