Wali of Al Amerat Discusses Health Needs with Director General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate and Boosting Partnership

His Excellency Hamad bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Wali of Al Amerat, discussed the health needs of Al Amerat and ways to develop and enhance the quality of healthcare services during his meeting with Yousuf bin Mohammed Al Farsi, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate, in the presence of the Deputy Wali of Al Amerat. Thereby meeting the needs of citizens and residents and keeping pace with the population growth and urban expansion.

This meeting reviewed the key health needs and priorities and discussed ways to address them and reinforce the efficiency of the services provided. It examined numerous health-related issues and phenomena, along with the challenges associated with them, and reviewed appropriate solutions and proposals to address them. Thereby contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services and promoting community health.

The meeting also emphasised the importance of strengthening partnership and integration among the Office of the Wali of Al Amerat, the Directorate General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate, and the Health Committee, through intensifying joint coordination, unifying efforts, and activating health and consciousness initiatives and programmes. These efforts aim to fulfil the health needs and achieve shared objectives in serving the community.
