Health Committee in Quriyat Highlights Efforts to Curb Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

His Excellency Sheikh Talal bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Hosani, Wali of Quriyat and Chairman of the Health Committee, received the members of competition’s evaluation committee of the National Competition to Curb the Spread of Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in the presence of members of the Executive Office of the Quriyat Healthy City. As part of the participation of the Health Committee in Quriyat in this competition.
During this meeting, the committee presented a visual presentation on the “Tahseen” Campaign, with which it is participating in this competition. The presentation highlighted the key programmes, events and activities implemented as part of the campaign, which aim to raise community consciousness of the risks associated with drugs and psychotropic substances, strengthen preventive efforts, and introduce initiatives and proposals aimed at curbing the spread of this scourge.
The presentation highlighted the campaign’s key efforts and field-based results achieved during 2025, as well as its contributions to increasing community awareness and broadening participation in efforts to prevent drug and psychotropic substance abuse. These efforts reinforce the role of the community and its institutions in protecting individuals, particularly young people.
