Muscat Municipality and OQ Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Establish a Park in Al Jafnayn

Muscat Municipality and OQ Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Office of the Wali of Seeb to implement a park project in Al Jafnayn, Seeb, covering an area of 5,559 square metres. The MoU comes as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships between government institutions and the private sector, and support community-oriented initiatives aimed at enhancing quality of life.

The project aims to provide a recreational and healthy space serving various segments of the community, while encouraging outdoor sports and recreational activities and promoting the use of walking trails and open spaces.

The initiative embodies the concept of social responsibility and community partnership by contributing to providing recreational facilities and public spaces that meet residents’ needs, support family and community activities, and encourage the adoption of healthy and active lifestyles.
