Wali of Al Amerat Meets with Sheikhs and Rashids and Listens to Their Developmental and Service-Related Requests and Proposals

His Excellency Hamad bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Wali of Al Amerat, received numerous Sheikhs and Rashids of Al Amerat, as part of the importance attached to regular meetings to strengthen direct communication with the residents of the wilayat and listening to their views, proposals and requests concerning various service, progressive and improvement-related aspects.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the attendees, stressing the important role played by the Sheikhs and Rashids in conveying the aspirations and needs of citizens, and in contributing to reinforcing communication and integration between the community and government entities. Thereby supporting the development process and addresses the actual needs of the population.
During the meeting, His Excellency listened to several requests, observations and proposals related to advancing services and public facilities and improving services provided across its various areas. Numerous ideas and initiatives that could contribute to advancing the wilayat and enhance its quality of life were discussed, in line with the urban and population growth being witnessed in Al Amerat.
Views were exchanged on developmental and service priorities and needs, as well as ways of boosting coordination with the competent entities to study and follow up on the requests raised, according to their respective specialisations and available resources. The importance of identifying priorities that have a direct impact on citizens’ lives and working towards appropriate solutions to existing challenges was emphasised.
His Excellency Hamad bin Sultan Al Busaidi affirmed that the Wali’s Office attaches great importance to engaging with the community and listening to the various views and proposals that contribute to the progress. He noted that community partnership and continuous communication with the sheikhs, Rashids and residents constitute an significant foundation for identifying actual needs and following them up in coordination with the relevant entities.
His Excellency further noted that the proposals and observations raised would be studied and followed up with the competent authorities, each within its respective remit. Thus enhancing services and supporting efforts to achieve balanced and sustainable development across the various areas of the wilayat.
The sheikhs and Rashids valued His Excellency the Wali’s keenness to listen to the requests and proposals of citizens. They expressed their appreciation for the approach of direct communication and follow-up, emphasising the importance of continuing such meetings that strengthening partnership and cooperation and unifying efforts to serve the wilayat and its residents.
The meeting forms part of the ongoing communication approach adopted by the Wali of Al Amerat Office, which seeks to promote community participation, establish direct channels for listening to citizens’ aspirations, and support developmental and service efforts aimed at advancing Al Amerat and fulfilling the aspirations of its residents.
