Enhancing the Addressing System and Services in Al-Amerat and Quriyat

Aspart of efforts to enhance the addressing system and municipal services, theResidential Neighbourhood Accreditation Team visited Wali of Al Amerat Office,to review accrediting residential neighbourhoods. Thereby facilitatingmunicipal work, speeding up services, and boosting accessibility to variouslocations.
Duringthis visit, the team met with Hamid bin Nasser Al-Hamar, Deputy Wali ofAl-Amerat, and numerous relevant officials. They discussed the names ofresidential neighbourhoods and mechanism for dividing and approving them,emphasising the importance of organising neighbourhood boundaries and namesaccording to clear criteria. Thereby this reinforces the efficiency of servicesprovided to citizens and residents and supporting development and municipalwork.
InQuriyat, Khalid bin Aydah Al-Junaibi, Deputy Wali, met with specialists fromthe Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, attended by members of theAddressing Committee, to discuss key purposes of the National AddressingProject and its implementing mechanisms. Thus accelerating its completion,advancing the addressing system and the community services.
TheDeputy Wali of Quriyat inaugurated the actual implementation of the NationalAddressing System, attended by the National Addressing Team, representingspecialists from the Muscat Governorate and the Ministry of Housing and UrbanPlanning. As well as, representatives of the contracting company, to advancethe addressing system, facilitate access to locations, and support efficientgovernment and logistical services. Thereby keeping pace with developmentobjectives and digital transformation.
