Muscat Governorate Welcomes a Delegation from the Social Protection Fund

The Muscat Governorate hosted a delegation from the Social Protection Fund to introduce the latest developments in the social protection system and its associated regulatory frameworks.
During this meeting, the Social Protection Fund team outlined the system’s objectives and its role in boosting social and economic stability. As well as, detailing the social benefits and social insurance programmes offered to various target groups, and highlighting the most significant associated developments.
The meeting reviewed employees’ social security rights, the methods of calculating benefits and contributions in accordance with the applicable regulations and guidelines. Furthermore, discussing various organisational and social insurance aspects of mutual interest.
This meeting forms part of the Muscat Governorate’s commitment to strengthening institutional integration and coordinating efforts with various entities to achieve greater work efficiency.
