The Wali of Al-Amerat Office held a meeting with members of the National Addressing Team at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, chaired by Hamid bin Nasser Al-Hamar, Deputy Wali of Al-Amerat, and attended by numerous relevant officials from the Muscat Municipality in Al-Amerat.
During this meeting, the latest developments and upcoming plans for the project were reviewed. As well as, introducing the pilot areas where implementation will begin, and outlining the applications and systems specific to the National Addressing Project, highlighting the capabilities that contribute to supporting the accuracy of spatial data and facilitating accessibility to locations and services.
Team members discussed joint cooperation throughout the various project stages. Thereby facilitating procedures, supporting field efforts and reinforcing coordination with relevant entities.
This meeting forms part of efforts to support implementing the National Addressing Project, which contributes to advancing the addressing system and boosting the efficiency of services in the Sultanate of Oman.
