Reviewing Latest Developments Regarding the Al-Misfat Walkway project in Quriyat

Khalid bin Aida Al-Junaibi, Deputy Wali of Quriyat, chaired a meeting to discuss the Al-Misfat Walkway Project in Quriyat, attended by representatives from numerous government entities.
This meeting highlighted the voluntary efforts undertaken by the citizens of Al-Misfat village to establish a walkway that benefits various community groups in Quriyat. This project aims to establish a public space and appropriate environment for sporting, cultural and social activities. Alongside supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and family initiatives through providing particular spaces to perform their activities.
During this meeting, achievements during the recent period of procedures were reviewed. They include obtaining numerous official approvals from the relevant government entities, and coordinating with landowners on both sides of the project route. Thereby fulfilling implementation requirements in accordance with the accredited frameworks.
Four proposed designs for the walkway were introduced at the meeting, featuring various service facilities, car parking, and areas for kiosks and family businesses.
The Deputy Wali of Quriyat and attendees paid a field visit to the project site to inspect the proposed walkway route and the associated technical and implementing aspects.
