Muscat Governorate Conducts a Training Workshop on Managing Work-related Stresses

The Muscat Governorate conducted a training workshop entitled ‘Managing Work Stresses’ as part of its efforts to boost the institutional working environment and develop employees’ skills in dealing with daily professional challenges. Numerous employees participated in the workshop.
Kaltham Al-Muqbali, a certified international trainer in institutional development and a PhD researcher at Sultan Qaboos University delivered this workshop. She outlined various topics relating to workplace stresses, which included the concept and types of stress, the key causes of workplace stress in professional environments, and its influences on performance and productivity.

This workshop discussed the practical application of a work stress evaluation scale and identified indicators of work burnout. As well as, reviewing several effective methods and strategies to manage and deal with stress efficiently. Thus enhancing employees’ self-awareness and supporting their ability to achieve workplace balance.
This workshop forms part of the training and awareness programmes conducted by Muscat Governorate to develop human competencies and advance working life. Thereby it contributes to boosting institutional performance efficiency and achieving its objectives.
