The Wali of Bawshar Reviews REFCO’s Efforts Supporting the Labour Market

To strengthen community partnerships, His Excellency Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Wali of Bawshar, paid a visit to Oman Refreshments Company (REFCO) attended by Their Excellencies the Shura Council members representing the Wilayats, Municipal Council members, and the Director General of the Muscat Municipality in Bawshar.
During their visit, the delegation was briefed on the company’s role in supporting the economy. Prospects for cooperation to serve the community, particularly regarding employment opportunities for jobseekers were discussed. Reviewing potential initiatives to address the unemployed within the framework of social responsibility.
This visit highlighted the significance of introducing training programmes that target qualifying national personnel and boosting preparedness to join the workforce. Thereby this strengthens opportunities to empower and engage them in various sectors.
The company gave a visual presentation outlining its activities and operational plans, alongside its contributions to society, and introducing the available job opportunities and application procedures.
The visit included field tour within the factory to familiarise visitors with the production lines and work methods, and to highlight the company`s progress in operational and production performance.
The visit underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between government entities and private sector institutions. Thereby it contributed to creating sustainable career opportunities, supporting career stability, and advancing development.
