The Wali of Seeb Chairs a Preparatory Meeting for the “Al-Habta and Al-Eyood” Events

As part of preparations for organising the “Al-Habta and Al-Eyood” events in Seeb, celebrating the blessed Eid al-Adha, His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb, chaired a preparatory meeting attended by representatives of government entities and numerous noticeable personalities from civil society institutions.
The attendees discussed organising the forthcoming events. It was agreed to appoint members of the main committee and its subcommittees. As well as, distributing roles and responsibilities among the various participating entities. Thereby it ensures integrating efforts and achieving the desired objectives of these events.
During this meeting, His Excellency the Wali of Seeb emphasised the importance of concerted efforts between government entities and civil society institutions to succeed these events. Thus, it reflects the authenticity of Omani heritage, highlights inherited ethnicities and traditions, and contributes to bringing pleasure and happiness to the community’s members.
The “Al-Habta and Al-Eyood” events are expected to contribute to strengthening social ties, inspiring traditional practices, and supporting community initiatives that reflect the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among the citizens.
