The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Competition Committee in Mutrah held its first meeting, chaired by Dr Abdul Hamid bin Abdulrahman Al-Kharousi, Deputy Wali of Mutrah.
During this meeting, numerous topics relating to the competition were discussed. They include introducing the competition, reviewing its objectives, summarising the first participation experience and identifying observations and improvement opportunities.
During this meeting, a work plan was prepared that consists of various proposed programmes and initiatives. As well as, distributing tasks among team members. Thereby it contributes to achieving the competition`s purposes and strengthening the wilayat`s role, in the public interest.
This team was constituted according to the Health Committee`s decision at its first meeting this year, to boost community efforts to combat drugs and reduce its harmful effects.
