Wali of Mutrah Discusses Community Initiatives with Private Sector

Dr Hamad bin Said al-Maamari, Wali of Mutrah, discussed with specialists from Sohar International Bank’s management community initiatives to serve the local community, and fields of cooperation regarding societal responsibility.
During this meeting, numerous topics were reviewed, including support for solving non-performing loans, creating job opportunities for job seekers, and discussing training and skills development programmes for citizens. Thus boosting readiness for the labour market and benefitting from available employment opportunities.
This meeting forms part of efforts to support community initiatives and strengthen cooperation between government and private sector entities to implement programmes serving the community.
