Documentation Department in Muscat Governorate Reviews Ministry of Labour’s Experience in Document Management

As part of its efforts to develop its institutional work system, the Documentation Department in Muscat Governorate visited the Documentation Department at the Ministry of Labour, to examine notable experiences and accredited practices in records management.
This visit forms part of the Governorate’s plans for 2026, which aim to boost the efficiency of administrative systems and advance document preservation and management methods according to the highest professional standards.
During this visit, specialists were briefed on the approved procedural system at the Ministry of Labour. Additionally, technical systems and specialised programmes used to organise and archive documents. Thereby it contributes to boosting work efficiency and facilitating access to information.
This visit provided both entities with a chance to share institutional experiences and increase joint cooperation. Thus this strengthens the capabilities of national officials and offering necessary skills to meet the rapid developments in this field.
Muscat Governorate implements best practices in records management, recognising this as a cornerstone to strengthening administrative governance and advancing institutional performance.
