Muscat Governorate Awards the ‘Partnership and Cooperation’ award in the 2025 Institutional Excellence System

        The Muscat Governorate has received the ‘Partnership and Cooperation’ award as part of the 2025 Institutional Excellence Framework. This achievement reflects its success in creating effective, complementary working relationships with various entities and boosts institutional cooperation. Thereby contributing to improving service quality and achieving value to society, consistent with the priorities of Oman Vision 2040. 

          This honour recognises the Governorate`s efforts to promote collaboration and expand partnerships with government and private sector entities. Thus, it supports role integration and unified effort. Ali bin Hamad Al-Izki, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs, stated: " “The Muscat Governorate’s win of the ‘Partnership and Cooperation’ award embodies the progress made in enhancing institutional integration and confirms the success of efforts to build a working system based on effective coordination and the exchange of expertise between various entities.” He added that this achievement reflects a commitment to implementing the institutional excellence framework as a practical tool that supports institutional cooperation and enhances service quality, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. He explained that this recognition was the result of a clear approach to strengthening partnerships and activating channels of communication and coordination between administrative units and relevant bodies, which contributed to achieving noticeable results in terms of performance and services, praising the efforts of all staff and indicator owners in supporting this approach.

          Walid bin Nasser Al-Ishaqi, Director of the Institutional Excellence System Implementation Team in Muscat Governorate, expressed the team’s pride and satisfaction at Muscat Governorate being honoured with the “Partnership and Cooperation” at the Institutional Excellence ceremony organised by the Ministry of Labour, emphasising that this achievement is the culmination of continuous efforts to establish a culture of collaboration and strengthen institutional integration among various entities. He added that this achievement was a direct result of the concerted efforts of officials and staff across various administrative divisions, alongside close cooperation with stakeholders, which enabled the building of effective partnerships that were reflected in performance levels and service quality. He noted that the Governorate has worked in recent times to expand the scope of partnerships and activate channels of cooperation with various stakeholders, thereby enhancing the exchange of expertise and the integration of efforts, and contributing to the achievement of the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. He explained that the institutional excellence system has contributed to supporting this approach, as a tool for performance governance, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness through the application of best practices, supporting continuous improvement and sustainability, and guiding improvement plans based on objective results that enhance competitiveness and raise the level of achievement. He concluded his remarks by emphasising that this honour serves as an incentive to continue strengthening partnerships and working as a single team, building on what has been achieved to reach the highest levels of institutional excellence, and raising the standard of services to meet the aspirations of society.

              This award highlights the efforts of Muscat Governorate in integrated institutional work and underscores its ability to forge effective partnerships that contribute to advancing services and enhance operational efficiency. Thereby supporting the drive towards sustainable development.
