Seeb Discusses Inaugurating a Charitable Initiative and Consumer Festival during Ramadan

The Social Development Committee in Seeb held its first meeting in 2026, chaired by His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali bin Hamdan Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb, to discuss numerous community initiatives planned for implementation during Ramadan and ways to boost community participation.
The meeting members approved implementing numerous community initiatives and events during Ramadan. They include inaugurating the ‘Fak Karba’ initiative and arranging a consumer festival during the last week of Ramadan and the first week of Eid al-Fitr holiday. As well as, the Omani Women`s Association in Seeb and local teams will implement volunteer programmes, in cooperation with the Wali of Seeb Office, including the Fasting Breakfast initiative.
This meeting forms part of following up on the Social Development Committee`s work in Seeb and reviewing initiatives and programmes influencing society. Thereby this contributes to enhancing social engagement and supporting progress efforts.
