His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Saeed Al-Maamari, Wali of Mutrah, met with numerous merchants today (Sunday) to discuss economic and commercial issues associated with the local market.
During this meeting, numerous topics were discussed, including market challenges, merchants` aspirations, and ways to boost the commercial environment. As well as, opportunities to employ job seekers from among national cadres in the private sector, and the importance of promoting social responsibility programmes that support the local community.
His Excellency emphasised the governorate`s keenness to support partnerships with the private sector. Thereby contributing to economic development, stimulating commercial activity, and enhancing the private sector`s contribution to supporting community initiatives.
