Muscat Governorate organises Institutional Risk Management and Work Continuity Forum

       As part of efforts to boost institutional performance efficiency and ensure service sustainability, Muscat Governorate is arranging to organise an Institutional Risk Management and Work Continuity Forum, sponsored by His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, from 12 to 13 January 2026, entitled ‘Towards a sustainable institutional system that boosts governance and service continuance ’.

        This forum aims to support the strategic directions of Oman Vision 2040 through promoting institutional governance concepts, boosting institutional readiness to address institutional and administrative risks, and ensuring continuous vital services under various circumstances. The forum aims to raise institutional awareness of risk management methodologies in institutions and sectors and work continuance, and to exchange experiences and practices between government and private entities in Muscat Governorate.  

         This forum targets risk management and work continuation managers specialising in risk planning and management and service continuance, general managers of municipalities, managers of planning and investment departments in Governorates, risk and work continuity managers, governance, planning and internal audit experts, senior officials in government entities, researchers and postgraduate students specialising in relevant fields of risk management.  

          The forum will constitute a specialised dialogue platform that contributes to enhancing institutional integration and creating more flexible and sustainable work system capable to keep pace with upcoming changes and challenges.
