Governor of Muscat Sponsors Concluding Ceremony of 2025 Cultural Season

His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, sponsored the closing ceremony of the 2025 cultural season, which took place at the Ministry of Information Theatre. During the ceremony, Arab poet Qasim Haddad was honoured to mark his selection as Arab Cultural Personality of 2025. Numerous intellectuals, media officials and those passionate about cultural affairs attended this ceremony.
The programme included reviewing the club`s achievements during 2025. As well as, a speech by Mr. Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Balushi, Chairman of the club`s Board of Directors, speaking about the conclusion of the cultural season and announcing Arab Cultural Personality of the Year 2025. This ceremony featured a musical performance by the Balad Musical Band and a visual film highlighting the creative work of poet Qasim Haddad and his intellectual and literary contributions.
Poet Saleh Al-Amri spoke about the honouree’s esteemed position and his remarkable role in role in enriching the Arab cultural scene. His speech was succeeded by further musical performances by Al-Balad Music Band. Then the honouring of the Arab intellectual personality, alongside appreciation for the ceremony`s sponsor for his support and patronage.
