Muscat Governorate Conducts Training Programme on Security and Safety

As part of its continuous efforts to boost the efficiency of the security and safety system in its facilities, Muscat Governorate conducts a specialised training programme in security and safety, in cooperation with the Training Institute of the Security and Safety Services Institution, from 9 November to 4 December 2025, at the Institute`s headquarters.
This programme targets 14 employees in its first batch, including security officers, deputy security officers and security guards among the Governorate`s employees. It aims to increase security preparedness and boost the employees` efficiency to address various emergencies. Thus ensuring a safe workplace in the Governorate`s various facilities.
This programme focuses on a range of theoretical and practical training topics. They include security and safety basics, physical fitness and weapons handling, emergency and evacuation procedures, first aid. As well as, crisis management, security communication skills, and field training on dealing with potential incidents within workplaces.
