Wali Of Quriyat Inspects Implementing Development Projects in Jabal Al Abyad

His Excellency Sheikh Talal bin Saif Al Hosni, Wali of Quriyat, visited numerous mountain villages, accompanied by numerous officials and employees from the relevant entities.
This visit included the site of the residential units construction project in Al Jabal Al-Abyad, implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, to advance the Jabal Al-Abyad area. They consisted of developing Majlis Al-Jinn Cave in the village of Salmah, as a unique tourist attraction that enhances the natural and tourist attractions.
HE the Wali and attendees were briefed on the project`s progress, which comprises constructing 14 residential units, a public council and a mosque for residents near the cave. According to the implementing company, the project is currently 70% accomplished.
There were field visits to numerous mountain villages, including Faiq, Souqah, Salmah, Wasal and Harima, to assess municipal services and ongoing beautification and development projects. Besides, identifying residents` requirements and remarks on public services and road networks.
HE the Wali met with several citizens to hear their suggestions and opinions on development and service projects. He confirmed that the government enhances service quality and infrastructure efficiency in mountainous regions, consistent with the inclusive development plans in Muscat Governorate.
The Wali of Quriyat Office affirmed that field visits will continue during the coming period to cover remaining villages in Al Jabal Al-Abyad. These visits aim to follow up on projects` progress and ensuring their quick achievement according to approved technical standards and to fulfil citizens` requirements.
