Muscat Governorate Conducts Training Workshop on Employee Financial Entitlements

Within the framework of its programmes to enhance the skills and knowledge of its employees in administrative and financial matters, Muscat Governorate conducted a training workshop today (Monday) entitled ‘Employee Financial Entitlements according to the Civil Service Law and its Executive Regulations’.
This workshop provided participants with the required knowledge to calculate employee financial entitlements and ability to recognise the benefit type according to the governing laws and regulations.
This workshop was introduced by Salim bin Hamad Al-Hasani, Assistant Director General for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Muscat Governorate. He explained various topics, including the introduction to the Civil Service Law and its implementing regulations, job and financial salary balancing since appointment, and discussing types of bonuses, allowances, and wages. As well as, various financial benefits, including official mission allowances and end-of-service benefits, offering practical examples of their calculation.
During the workshop, interactive discussions and dialogues occurred among participants, which boosted the employees` learning experience.
This workshop reflects the ‘Knowledge Ambassador’ initiative implemented by the Human Resources Department in Muscat Governorate, to share knowledge and expertise, and exchange successful experiences.
