Muscat governorate conducts ‘Risk Registry’ Workshop to Boost Staff Efficiency

Muscat Governorate, representing the Risk Management Department, conducted an awareness workshop today, Wednesday, entitled ‘Risk Registry: From Concept to Application’, presented by Dr. Azza bint Said Al Sharji, a specialist in governance, risk management and compliance.
This workshop targeted employees of Their Excellencies the Walis’ Offices and Governorate Departments, to boost their efficiency and develop skills in risk management.
During the workshop, various topics were discussed. They include the theoretical framework of risk management, its key types, risk management records, and risk management implementation methodologies. Discussions and enriching interactions among participants reflected their interest in risk management techniques and optimal methods to implement them in the workplace.
The workshop introduced the preparation and documentation of risk registers and their analysis. As well as, reviewing preventive procedures to minimise their impact, thus supporting decision-making and ensuring continuous services provision efficiently and effectively.
This initiative reflects the Governorate`s directions regarding proactivity and promoting a risk management culture through implementing international best practices to ensure continuous performance and achieve institutional efficiency.
