Health Committee in Muscat Reviews its Health Initiatives

The Health Committee in Muscat held the first meeting in 2025, headed by His Excellency Ali bin Said Al Saidi, Wali of Muscat and the Committee Head, and attended by committee members representing relevant health and societal entities.
During this meeting, an introduction was delivered on the specialisations and roles of health committees to support the health sector and raise community awareness. A visual presentation was given on the health situation in Muscat, introducing the health services data and chronic disease indicators in the Health Centres, including Muscat, Yeti, and Al Saifa. Besides, the percentages’ change comparing to previous years.
Awareness activities, programmes, and health and community initiatives implemented within the Health Centres were highlighted. As well as, the achieved results to raise health awareness among the community members.
The meeting discussed developments in the national vaccination campaign against human papillomavirus.
