Wali of Seeb visits South Al Maabilah and listens to Residents` Demands Regarding Services and Facilities

His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali bin Hamdan Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb, accompanied by Engineer Salim bin Ahmed bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Director General of the General Directorate of Muscat Municipality in Seeb, and several specialists from the Municipality and the Wali of Seeb Office, paid a field visit to South Al Maabilah district in Seeb, attended by local residents.
During the visit, within the framework of the community partnership to boost services for residents, the officials listened to comments relating to the Water Transfer Station site at Al-Joud Roundabout. It aims to avoid traffic accidents, resolve the abandoned houses issue to prevent health and social problems, and find solutions to repair damaged roads and excavations that cause accidents.
During this visit, constructing new roads and finding innovative solutions to the traffic congestion problem in Al-Maabilah, particularly leading to the Car Market was highlighted as part of efforts to promote quality of life and achieve sustainable development. The officials discussed joint coordination with government entities to transfer the market to an alternative zone. Thus serving the public interest and boosting the area.
