His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali bin Hamdan Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb, met with Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Harthi, Chief Executive Officer of Asset Management at Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company. Several officials and specialists attended it from the company.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the water and wastewater projects currently being implemented in Seeb, their accomplishment rates, and work locations were reviewed. The main challenges facing project implementation and appropriate suggested solutions were discussed.
Additionally, several topics related to the services provided by the company in the villages and areas of the Wilayat, as part of efforts to develop infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of water and wastewater services were touched on. The projects under the third package currently being implemented by the company, along with feedback regarding the coastal areas were reviewed. The Wali of Seeb emphasised following safety standards and conducting awareness and guidance programmes to reduce potential risks during excavation works in these vital regions.
An agreement was reached to implement measures and follow-ups regarding the discussed topics, in a manner that ensures improved service quality and strengthens cooperation among the relevant entities in the interest of the residents.
