His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali bin Hamdan Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb, met at his office with with Engineer Sulaiman bin Nasser Al Akhzami, Director General of Nature Conservation at the Environment Authority, and several concerned officials. During the meeting, several projects and initiatives regarding increasing the green space were reviewed.
The two sides discussed the significance of increasing green spaces as part of the national efforts to achieve sustainable development purposes. As well as, reviewing the proposed initiatives and future plans to increase the cultivated areas and improve the quality of the local environment.
His Excellency the Wali confirmed the integration of efforts between government entities and the local community to support environmental directives. He indicated that increasing the green space contributes to enhancing the quality of life and life and beautifying the urban view of Seeb.
The Director General delivered a detailed presentation on the most remarkable environmental projects currently being implemented in Seeb. He explained the importance of promoting community involvement to ensure the successful and sustainable impact of these initiatives.
