The Wali of Mutrah Office met today (Tuesday) with representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Muscat Municipality to discuss the latest developments regarding implementing the national addressing system and approving street names.
During the meeting, the system`s objectives and approved implementation phases were discussed. As well as, the coordination between the relevant entities to ensure the efforts’ integration and efficiency of address-related services. Thus contributing to enhancing the residents` quality of life and easy reach to sites and services in various areas in Mutrah.
The Wali of Mutrah Office is interested in supporting infrastructure development plans and modernising municipal service systems to promote urban development and fulfil the citizens` requirements.
This meeting reflects the government`s joint efforts to advance urban planning systems and modernise the digital infrastructure of services, according to international standards to facilitate daily service procedures.
