Within coordination meetings between governorates and government entities, Muscat Governor meets the Minister of Endowments and reviews the Ministry`s Efforts on Oman`s Vision 2040

Within the framework of coordinating meetings to strengthen cooperation and integration between governors and heads of government units. His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, met on Monday with His Excellency Dr Mohammed bin Said Al Mamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs. Their Excellencies the Walis in Muscat Governorate, His Excellency the Ministry’s Undersecretary, and several officials from both entities attended this meeting.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs reviewed the Ministry`s 2025 plan and fields of cooperation and integration with Muscat Governorate regarding the Endowments and Religious Affairs sectors. As well as, discussing the Ministry`s detailed plans and E-services to support the government`s efforts to achieve the Oman Vision 2040 objectives.

During the meeting, the Ministry’s projects in Muscat Governorate within the Ministry`s Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) and upcoming implementing efforts and plans were introduced. Besides, participating in the governorates` development, through exchanging viewpoints and promoting institutional work.

They briefed on several initiatives and projects associated with mosques, Quranic schools, endowments, Islamic counselling and guideline. Additionally, the Ministry`s efforts to improve the public services offered to citizens and residents, focusing on digital transformation and simplifying procedures through various electronic platforms.

The Ministry held a mini exhibition displaying the achievements of its sectors, indicators, programmes and publications. His Excellency the Governor of Muscat and attendees were introduced to the Ministry`s strategic directives, electronic and community services. As well as, its role in promoting national values, coexistence and tolerance. Thus contributing to achieving the objectives of comprehensive development.
