Supervised by Wali of Al Amerat Office, Al Amerat Events Launch

Al Amerat will officially kick off the Al Amerat Events at Al Amerat Park this evening, which will run from 25 May to 14 June 2025. The events were supervised and followed up by the Wali of Al Amerat Office, and participated by several entities and institutions. They include the Social Development Centre, Al Amerat Cultural and Sports Club, Omani Women`s Association, Al Amerat Charity Team, Al Amerat Zakat Committee, Al Amerat Equestrian Committee, and Al Amerat Camel Racing Committee.
The 20-day events, which is being organised for the first time, promote cultural and social activities. As well as, enabling productive families and home entrepreneurs to offer their products and services to visitors.
The event includes various accompanying activities that attract the interests of all society`s groups, including productive families and home projects, awareness, educational and health corners, a traditional food corner, children`s games, reptiles, horses and camels, classic car shows, theatre performances, and folklore. As well as, competitions, awards, and various events and activities.
Sheikh Hamed bin Nasser Al Hamar, Deputy Wali of Al Amerat, Head of the Organising Committee and General Supervisor of the events, stated that this initiative reflects the Wali Office`s efforts and supporting the social and cultural activities to highlight people`s energies, creativity and talents. Additionally, supporting productive families and home entrepreneurs through marketing platforms offering free exhibition of products and services for these families. Al Hamar said "This event promotes the joint work of various local community institutions and a recreational and cultural experience that contributes to promoting social and cultural diversity".
These events are timed with Eid Al Adha, giving them a special celebratory vibe.
