The Zakat Committee in Bawshar distributed Ramadan E-vouchers to beneficiaries, totaling nearly 13,000 Omani riyals. These annual initiatives come within the committee`s plan to support needy families. The E-voucher was implemented to facilitate shopping for the beneficiaries from the authorized stores easily. It allows them to choose freely the products they wish to purchase according to their necessities, whether basic food, vegetables, fruits or meats, provided their compliance with the specified items within the basic requirements.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Hilal AlBusaidi, Wali of Bawshar, praised the efforts of the Zakat Committee and the benefactors who interacted with this humanitarian initiative. He affirmed the community cohesion and promoting the values of compassion and collaboration among society members.
