Health Committee in Mutrah discusses Health Services Enhancement

The Health Committee in Mutrah held its first meeting in 2025 chaired by His Excellency Dr Hamad bin Saeed Al Mamari, Wali of Mutrah, and attended by committee members today.
The committee reviewed previous recommendations relating to the health city, enhancing cooperation with the private health sector, and the topic of honouring the winning schools in the competition to combat the narcotics and psychotropic substances.
Opening a special bank account for the Health Committee, to facilitate the management of financial resources and support health projects that serve the community was also discussed. Initial solutions were offered to the parking areas at the health centers in Ruwi and Mutrah, and the possible use of the surrounding areas to accept more vehicles.
His Excellency Dr. Wali of Mutrah noted the unifying efforts to achieve the health purposes, stressing increasing awareness programmes and support community initiatives that contribute to enhance health and social awareness.
