Muscat Governorate conducts a Workshop on the Tajawob Platform

Within its continuous efforts to enhance services and the beneficiaries’ experience, Muscat Governorate, in cooperation with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, conducted a workshop on the National Platform for Suggestions, Complaints and Reports (Tajawob). The Central Team that manages the platform and its members from both internal and external to the governorate attended it.

The workshop aimed to introduce the team to the platform purposes and managing complaints, reports, and suggestions in its multiple channels, including its website, call centers, and customer services departments. It also affirms that activating the role of these departments according to the requirements of government excellence and involving beneficiaries to develop services is important.
The National Platform for Suggestions ,Complaints and Reports (Tajawob) in the governorate will be a unified national electronic portal to receive suggestions and complaints. The Governorate and other institutions will gain more accurate information on the efficiency ofservices request methods, monitor performance in responding to these requests, and plan to take the appropriate decisions to improve the efficiency of both the methods and the services.
Beneficiaries can access the platform through tajawob.om and log in using the ID number and card expiry date, and then input the OTP verification code that is sent to the registered phone number. After requesting, the Central Team will refer the topic to the relevant entity within one hour, and the entity must respond within a maximum of five working days. If the beneficiary has not received the required response, he or she can escalate it directly to the head of the relevant unit. Thus, it ensures effective follow-up to solve complaints and suggestions.

This workshop aims to achieve the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, 2040, to enhance transparency and responsibility in government work, quality government services, and participate the community in development, and increase transparency and accountability to manage complaints and suggestions.
