Wali of Muscat visits Al Khayran Area

His Excellency Ali bin Said Al Saidi, Wali of Muscat, accompanied by the Director General of Muscat Municipality in Muscat and the Assistant Director General for Tourism Licences and Investor Services at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, visited Al Khayran area. This visit aimed to discuss the fishermen`s demands and the latest developments in water sporting activities, to collect notes and exchange perspectives from the community on the region`s development, and to discuss the tourist yacht conditions.
AlKhayran is a specialised area for general eco-tourism purposes according to the Royal Decree No. (45/2007), which recognised Al Khayran as a generaleco-tourism region. Thus, prohibiting any activities without licenses from the entities and prohibiting the camping of camps there
