Wali of Mutrah’s Office conducts a lecture entitled ‘Methodology of Formulating Objectives and Key Results

The Wali of Mutrah Office conducted a lecture entitled ‘Methodology of Formulating Objectives and Key Results (OKR)’,presented by Mr. Jassim bin Salim Al-Zuhaibi, Evaluation Specialist and member of the Central Team of Ejada at the Ministry of Labour today (Wednesday). The workshop, which targeted Muscat Governorate employees, highlighted OKR`s importance in improving organisational performance and achieving strategic objectives.
The lecture focused on main topics, starting with a general introduction to the OKR methodology, during which AlZohaibi explained that OKR is an effective method to link the organisation`s strategic objectives to the employees` performance, achieving the required results efficiently. He introduced the key elements, including definingobjectives and key measurable results. He also explained the linking employees’ objectives with the organisation`s general objectives, confirming that this increases employees’ loyalty and productivity.
Al Zohaibi delivered an interactive workshop on formulating objectives and key results using the OKR methodology,where the participants involved practical exercises to understand the concepts deeply. The lecture aimed to improve professional efficiencies and exchange experiences among employees within initiatives that are organised by the Wali of Mutrah`s Office.
