His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, sponsored the fourth annual graduation ceremony of the Muscat University in the presence of a number of officials, academic staff and parents of the graduating students at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre today (Monday).
The ceremony began with the playing of the Royal Anthem and the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the display of a short film titled ‘Our Story’, which reviewed the university`s progress and achievements since its establishment. The University head, Dr Khamis bin Hamad Al-Yahyaie, delivered a speech on the university`s academic progress and its great role in preparing national efficiencies qualified to be competitive in the labour market.

The ceremony included a visual presentation entitled ‘Journey of Memories’, in which the graduates illustrated their academic progress from their first time at the university to the day of graduation. The graduates’ representative gave a speech in which he expressed their gratitude to the university and its continuous support during their study years.
184 graduates of the Faculty of Business and Management, 144 graduates of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics, and 136graduates of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology were honoured.
Muscat Governorate congratulated the graduates and their families, wishing them a future of great achievements.
