In continuance of its series of lectures and initiatives, the Office of Wali of Mutrah conducted a lecture entitled‘ Citizenship and Identity and their Role in Sustainable Development’s Achievement’ today (Tuesday), in the presence of His Excellency Dr Hamad AlMamari, wali of Mutrah, and a number of governorate employees and the local residents.
Dr Badria Al Wahibiya, who discussed the concept of citizenship and identity, their role in national policies and OmanVision 2040. As well as, the importance of community participation to enhance them, delivered the lecture. She also reviewed the utilisation of artificial intelligence to enhance the elements of identity. The lecture discussed the impact of citizenship and identity to support the national economy and achieve sustainable development. The lecture also viewed interaction among the audiences, as they exchanged viewpoints to enhance citizenship and identity in the community.
The lecture was conducted as part of the Office of Wali of Mutrah keenness to enhance community awareness and activate effective communication with citizens to promote the values of citizenship and support local development efforts.
