To Promote Awareness of their Importance and Opportunities’ Offer Muscat Governor Kicks off juvenile art exhibition titled ‘Story of a Juvenile’

   His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Muscat Governor, will sponsor the launch of the ‘Juvenile Art Exhibition’ under the topic of ‘Juvenile Story’ this evening (Monday). It is organized by the Ministry of Social Development in collaboration with Bait Al Zubair Museum and will last from 2 to 11December. 

    The exhibition aims to raise awareness of rehabilitating, reintegrating and enabling juveniles in society by highlighting the creative abilities of juveniles, encouraging them to develop their talents, and motivating the community to participate in rehabilitation efforts. As well as, highlighting the role of government and private institutions to support social issues.

     The exhibition pursues to provide a humanitarian message that aims to change the typical view of juveniles by highlighting their abilities to change and develop. While also achieving the improvement and rehabilitation’s purposes that civil society organizations work to achieve. It also promotes the cooperation values between government and private institutions and contributes to enrich the cultural and artistic field with innovative works that include meaningful social messages.

     It is worth mentioning that by sponsoring such exhibitions and events, Muscat Governorate pursues to work with the relevant entities to prepare its planning projects, both developmental and social sectors, to promote the social sides of its programmes and initiatives. Additionally, communicating with the local community to serve the public interest within the governorate. The exhibition reflects the Ministry of Social Development`s continuous efforts to care for, rehabilitate juveniles, and highlight their skills and creative talents. It includes various artworks, including paintings, and sculptures. Besides handicrafts designed by juveniles enrolled in the Guidance and Rehabilitation Centers
