His Excellency Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Muscat governor, today participated in the official signing ceremony for the projects and initiatives of (Neutrality3) within the National Zero-Neutrality Program. It is part of the governorate`s efforts to achieve the 2030 sustainable development targets and support the nationalzero-neutrality strategy.
The ceremony included visual presentations on the developments and achievements of the National Zero Net Neutrality Program, and a speech by Dr. Maryam Al Busaidi who reviewed the program`s stages, projects and opportunities in main sectors. Additionally, the National Zero-Neutrality Strategy`s approval within the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, and the signing and approval of these initiatives.

During the ceremony, HE Muscat governor, signed an agreement to implement important projects within the zero-neutrality program to promote the green energy use and reduce carbon emissions. These projects aim to increase the green spaces and improve energy efficiency by renewable energy sources` utilizing, such as solar panels, and develop a sustainable infrastructure that supports green spaces. These initiatives include modern technologies to manage electricity consumption and reduce environmental impact. They contribute to create a sustainable urban environment that enhances the quality of life and meets the National Vision for Zero Net Neutrality 2030.
This program follows up on the achievement of carbon emissions reductions in 2030, 2040 and2050 by following up on the implementation of projects and initiatives in various main sectors and supporting sectors that reduce and achieve the Oman`s national target of zero emissions by 2050.
