His Excellency Sheikh Talal bin Saif Al Hosani, Quriyat wali, held a meeting with the Department of Housing and Urban Planning. During the meeting, the urbanstrategy, future plans and the department’s services were reviewed. Many sheikhs, leaders, and managers of government organizations from various sectors attended it.
HE. the Wali, accompanied by engineers from Muscat Municipality`s Technical Affairs Department, also visited the suggested site for levelling the land for the “23July Sports and Cultural Team” in Hay Al Dahir region. It was agreed to support the project to enhance the team`s youth activities.
The Wali also toured Al Khobar village, accompanied by the Engineer Director General of Muscat Municipality and many sheikhs and residents of the village. Additionally, representatives of “Khimji” and the Manager of the “Fisheries Development Department”.
The visit aims tore-evaluate ways to protect the western side of the valley. It was agreed with Khimji Contract ruction Company to move the existing stones and construct a concrete barrier for the valley stream, which will protect the region and its residents’ safety.
These efforts reflect the Quriyat wali office`s commitment to improve infrastructure and cooperation between government and community entities to achieve sustainable development.
