The Quriyat Health Committee held its third meeting in 2024.His Excellency Sheikh Talal bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Hosani, Quriyat wali and the Committee Chairman, chaired it. Additionally, in the presence of committee members.
The meeting dealt with various topics on the agenda. The most notable is following up on the Quriyat Health City project’s implementation. This project aims to improve health services and the healthcare level. The committee also discussed the proposal to open a temporary health center to serve the western villages to meet the health needs of those regions’ residents.
The committee reviewed the ‘Women`s and Children`s Health Campaign’ initiative, which aims to enhance health awareness among families. As well as, following up on the ‘Examine and Reassure’ campaign’s implementation, which encourages the importance of periodic check-ups to test for chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood.
This meeting comes within the Health Committee`s continuous efforts to enhance the health services. Also, following up on the health projects’ implementation that will improve the health life’s quality for citizens.
