Muscat Governor sponsors the Concluding Ceremony of Youth Centre 2024`s Summer Programs

Within empowering youth, developing their skills and enhancing their leadership roles. His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Muscat governor, on Sunday sponsored the concluding ceremony of the 2024 Summer Programmes, which was implemented by the Centre in all governorates from June to September.
The ceremony included a visual presentation by Alya bint Said Al-Shanfari, Acting Executive Director of the Youth Centre. She indicated in her presentation that the summer programs` package comes to enhance the Centre`s purposes and make an ideal investment in the leisure timeof the youth by offering special programs that reflect their interests and aspirations. She stressed that these programs have been designed to suit each governorate`s nature and its youth percentage, to ensure that different groups benefit from these programs.
The ceremony included a musical performance. Additionally, the youth experiences` review who participated in the programs, which promote cooperation between the Centre and its partners. The ceremony concluded by honouring the partners, supporters and contributors to these programs` success, in appreciation of their efforts and collaboration.
The programs included technical, entrepreneurial, cultural and entertaining programs. More than 86 programs were organized in 11 governorates, with 15 programs in the Muscat governorate. The total beneficiaries of these programs reached about 3,200 young from all governorates. Through its programs, the Youth Centre contributes to raise a youth community able to participate efficiently in the economic and social development process. The center pursues to develop the young people`s skills and abilities. It provides them with the necessary consultations and implements programs and initiatives that improve their skills and talents.
