His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Mamari, Muttrah wali, chaired a meeting of the Parents` Council at his office. Where several topicswere discussed within improving the educational process and the school environment in Muttrah.
The meeting started by reviewing and approval of the previous meeting’s minutes. Reviewing various proposals that related to the educational process development. For example, forming a committee to visit the schools to identify their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
The Council`s sub-committees’ reconstitution and preparations for the Teacher`s Day celebration, in appreciation of the teachers’ efforts to raise generations were discussed.
The topic of awareness programs, lectures and various media methods’ implementation to educate the community about child abuse was also highlighted. Thus, it protects their rights and provide a safe environment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Hamad emphasized the cooperation between all relevant entities to achieve common purpose to support and improve education. He stressed the family and the community role in the educational process’s enhancement.
