Within the community development efforts and to promote health and sporting initiatives in Muscat Governorate. His Excellency Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Muscat governor, held a meeting with several government entities to review a sports health initiative presented by a sporting events management organization.
The project, which enables community via sport, aims to create a healthy and active community in Muscat Governorate, with a focus on youth development and physical activity. It also creates job opportunities in the sports and tourism sectors, enhancing the sports’ contribution to the local economy.
During the meeting, the project work was reviewed, which includes involving the community in physical and sports activities, targeting all age groups. Additionally, create effective partnerships with government entities to make sport as an essential daily lifestyle, discover talents, and promote volunteering and effective participation in activities and initiatives.
The meeting highlighted the importance of workable idea implementation and this initiative development, by joining efforts of government entities to support this project.
