As part of efforts to improve the government services’ quality and enhance its ranking in global competitiveness indicators. Today (Monday), Muscat Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, organized a ceremony honouring the best service offer outlets in Muscat Governorate in 2023. His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi, Muscat Municipality head, sponsored it.
This honour reflects Muscat Governorate’s appreciation for the winning entities’ commitment to achieve the institutional excellence system’s accomplishments, and enhances the culture of continuous development in the work environment. It, which contributes to raise the level of government services that offered to the community and enhances citizen satisfaction. It also comes as a crowning of the effective institutional efforts done by units of the state’s administrative machinery to enhance their performance’s efficiency. It aims to provide high quality and efficient services that meet the customers and beneficiaries’ needs in Muscat Governorate.
The honouring ceremony included several government agencies that were selected based on beneficiary satisfaction indicators and questionnaires to be the best service offer outlet in Muscat Governorate in2023. They are Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (Food Safety & Quality Center), Ministry of Education’s headquarters, Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs headquarters, The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resource’s headquarters, Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning headquarters, Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones ( OPAZ ), National Records & Archives Authority, The Oman Medical Specialty Board, Social Protection Fund, and the National Museum.
In a related context, His Excellency, Muscat Municipality head congratulated the bodies that won the Best Service Outlet Award in 2023. He expresses his pride in the great efforts done by these bodies in their services’ development and the quality and efficiency of their institutional performance’s improvement. His Excellency praised their commitment to provide distinguished service to the community. Stressing that their distinction reflects their commitment to professionalism and quality in institutional performance. He expressed his great appreciation for their achievements, wishing them more success and hard work in the future.
It is worth noting that the institutional excellence system is one of the basic stone corners of the Oman Vision 2040adopted by the Sultanate of Oman. It aims to increase the level of government services and improve performance efficiency in various sectors.
