In order toenhance common meetings between officials, His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin HilalAl Busaidi, Muscat Governor, met (today,Wednesday) with Their Excellencies, theShura Council’s members, representatives of Muscat Governorate’s wilayats. Inthe presence of His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi,MuscatMunicipality’s head, and Their Excellencies the walis of Muscat Governorate,and a number of governorate and municipal officials. It aims to inform them ofthe most important development and service plans and projects, and the mostnoticeable programs and future directions of the governorate.
During themeeting, the most noticeable development and service projects implemented bythe municipal sector in the governorate were reviewed. In addition to theprojects planned to be implemented during the current year and the executiveposition on them. They which falls under the heading of provincial developmentand development budget. Projects include infrastructure enhancement, roadmaintenance, development and improvement projects, and investment projects.
The meetingalso included listening to the inquiries of Their Excellencies the ShuraCouncil members, their visions and proposals about some service needs in thegovernorate. His Excellency the Governor and His Excellency MuscatMunicipality’s head offered the reply. Their Excellencies appreciated theimportance of these complementary periodic meetings. Emphasizing the importanceof joining efforts between various parties and focusing on offering qualityprojects with added value in the various governorate’s wilayats.
Which would achieve economic and development incomes andenhance the tourism field, as well as, implementation of basic serviceprojects.
During themeeting, His Excellency Muscat Governor confirmed that Muscat Governorate tookcare to achieve balance and fair relative distribution of Muscat Governoratedevelopment projects. So it includes the various governorate’s wilayats.Through which it is hoped that it will enhance the infrastructure and offerpromising investment projects through which it is hoped to move the wheel ofeconomy and development in the governorate. In order to ensure the achievementof future visions and purposes and the advancement of the governorate invarious aspects.
