The Health Committee in Mutrah held its second meeting in2024 to discuss several topics. Abdul Hamid bin Abdul Rahman Al Kharousi,Mutrah Wali Deputy chaired this meeting.The meeting discussed the Port Health District project, a visit to somemedical cities, and awareness programs about the dangers of AIDS and sexualharassment for school students.
Epidemicdiseases in Mutrah were also discussed, and awareness lectures were held on theprevention of Crimean hemorrhagic fever during Eids and dengue fever, and therole of the municipality and health centers there. The meeting reviewed thesummer campaign and health programs for students during summer vacation.
